To over-come procrastination, get engaged in the game of life! NOW is the time to step out of fear into faith! If you have dreams, be certain you have enough REASONS to justify the investment of your time, energy and resources.  Believe in yourself and play full out! Procrastination cannot survive in the face of a committed, determined human will!

I’ve discovered that when we take action, our fears are overcome. Most things that I’ve been afraid of were figments of my imagination. or example, I thought that I had a fear of heights until I climbed a tree. The experience was so peaceful that I cannot even begin to find words to describe the sacredness of the experience. This gave me the courage to take a hot air balloon ride, to ride in a helicopter, to fly on an airplane. Trust me, baby steps works wonders so give yourself permission to move forward, even though your heart may be racing and your knees knocking. Feel the fear but move forward anyway.

I also believe that remembering that we are vessels through which the Divine flows, also gives us courage to move forward in spite of many perceived obstacles and challenges. Years ago, I think that I heard John Randolph Price say "There is no thing that God cannot do. There is no thing that God cannot do through me. Because the Spirit of God dwells within me, there is no thing that i cannot do!"

No matter your religion or spiritual beliefs, I encourage you to look within and remember that you deserve to live in abundance, wealth and prosperity.

Ok- this is a good question. Your compelling value proposition is your unique way of helping a client achieve their goals, solve a problem, maximize their potential, overcome obstacles, rise above fear, etc.

My recommendation is that you awaken your authenticity. I would like you to you give yourself permission to step fully into your power and let your true voice be heard. NOW is the time to live out loud. Meaning, be bold. Remove the mask and allow people to see the real you. You are good enough so step out of fear into faith. To test your ideas, post questions on Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin saying "i am thinking about designing a course in the area of _______. What would you most like to see in a course like this?“ Use their responses to create your event flyer, a FREE pre-event call, and a 10 slide powerpoint.

The  pre-event call allows you to share a brief overview of your course offering and also affords you the opportunity to ask questions to ensure that you understand the demands of the marketplace. The other bonus is that you get to build a list because these calls are FREE.  During the pre-event call, you will remind people of the website link that allows them to register for your live event.

The intention behind developing an overview powerpoint is to ensure that you are providing a clear roadmap to the transformation that a customer will experience as a result of working with you.   The pre-event call will cover your principles as overview only. No need to give away the store.  In your live event, you will explore the concepts deeply so that the client can live a fuller, richer and more rewarding life.

Include the following elements in your live event flyer :

Who is it for/Ideal Audience objective
See who is in the audience and tell them its right for them by asking a question

Example – Who it is for:

• If you’re in business it’s for you
• If your self-employed it’s for you

• This allows you to book events according to demand and signups  (i.e. You can say the next training will be held on the East/West Coast)

• Comparison price ( i.e. a college education is $120k  to 250k and when you graduate you get a $40k job still unsure exactly how to do _________.  Some people charge $______ for this type of program, but the investment/tuition for our program is $______.)
• Regular price (Give a specific reason why you are offering a discount off of the regular price.)

 
Once you put it the flyer out there, allow the market to respond with Yes! When the 1st person signs up, that is your signal to proceed forward with developing your event content. Change appears to be difficult, but it’s not all that challenging if we take the time to focus on the bigger picture. Change always leads to good. Meaning, many of us wish, hope or dream of change, yet we know deep inside that only desire coupled with action will propel us forward. On the other side of what appears to be a challenge lies a feeling of accomplishment, clarity and joy.

Why is it that change feels like a dirty word? After all, we learn new things and become new people all the time. When the change we desire is specific, the costs and
benefits are clear, and we have the support of people who love us, change is actually easy. And definitely more fun! You CAN create the life of your dreams! The key is to plan wisely, start today, and
stay the course.

Case in point, I simply made a decision that it was time to embrace health and vitality. I joined a fitness boot camp and this provided support, accountability and new friendships. My new friends love to eat healthy and nutritious foods, exercise their bodies and celebrate life with laughter and vitality.  If you have a dream, a goal or project, and if you really want to achieve it, find a way.

There’s a wonderful quote from Hannibal, "We will find a way, or make one." Take baby steps if you must. Ask for help, try a different way, hire a coach, but never, never, never settle for mediocrity.  Giving up, giving in, settling and sighing with regret are un-necessary excuses for playing small. I truly believe that when we take the time to look within, we will see that yes, we are worthy of health, wealth, loving, harmonious relationships and the freedom of creative self expression.  

Emerson had a saying that you could travel the world over in search of beauty, but unless you had it within yourself, you would never find it, and I believe that the same is true of every good thing of life.  The first step to success lies right where you are so I encourage you to take action. No more excuses. Go for it!
